Arabs have migrated to many countries outside the Arab world for political and economic reasons. Arab diaspora communities in the Far East are lesser well known than those in Europe and Latin America. In this session i will discuss Arab and Arabic communities publishing in China and Soth East Asia.

David Hirsch served as the Librarian for Middle Eastern, Central Asian, South Asian and Islamic Studies at the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) since 1989.
