Publishing used to be New York, and entertainment was Hollywood. But now the rules for creating and marketing content has completley changed. Labels often feature music in computer games to get the song and the artist more sales, and many more of such cross-pollination deals will be the norm in the future. This seminar looks at popular Youtube channels and other content platforms like Medium, and examines the rules of content distribution and marketing in a world where content primarily gets filtered and recommended socially.
