Lucia Panini ( Modena, 1969) is on the board of directors of Franco Cosimo Panini Editore. She inherited her passion for antique books from her father Franco Cosimo, the company's founder, and entered the world of collectors and bibliophiles at a very young age. In 1991 she opened the Lucia Panini Antiquarian Bookshop, and attended the most important international fairs. From 1995 to 2000 she lived in London where, in the glamorous Old Bond Street, she sold antique books while promoting extraordinary works of Italian publishing. At the publishing house she oversees facsimiles with great care. Thanks to her previous experience in the field, she heads the committe to find illuminating manuscripts to reproduce, thereby continuing her father's dream of creating the Biblioteca Impossible, a remarkable collection of publications dedicated to the most significant codices of great noble houses of the Renaissannce.
